--To date 31 members have paid their 2007 dues ($20)
and all dues are due at the January meeting.
--Jim Vasi again stated he
will retire as president. Nominations for officers were discussed and Steve Imerese & Kurt Hertzog were nominated to run for
president. Kurt stated he would have to think about it until next month. No
other names were submitted for any office.
Dick Radel would like to step down as recording secretary and hopefully
someone will volunteer and/or be nominated for that office. We also need a 1st
Vice President to plan demonstrations and assist the president at meetings. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS YOUR CLUB. THE
ELECTION OF OFFICERS WILL BE AT THE JANUARY MEETING.
--Jim Shimwell was honored
at the Aspire luncheon for all his and our club’s work for the Aspire Kids. TOYS will be distributed to the
CERABRAL PALSY KIDS on Tuesday Dec
12th, at Aspire. Jim stated the Scroll Saw Club in Clarence made 125
“HUG” wooden pieces with a note attached that say’s “This little HUG is just
for you. It will make you happy when you’re blue. You’ll feel warm all over,
just wait and see. When you squeeze this HUG, just think of me”.

Foell will be 87 years young on Saturday, December 9th.
