Rich Mialki explained how great the volunteer’s were. Thanked all, especially Gary and Marge Jones (16 shifts), Joe & Denise Mussari, Bob Ball and Jim Hilburger. A total of 86 people volunteered to fill the 198 time slots. Rich also presented the zebra wood bowl to Joe Reimer, winner of the auction. After much discussion a motion was passed by all present to authorize the Fair Committee the right to buy items for future fair presentations or setup with monies from the club treasury. A concern was raised if we should do something for the use of the WoodCarvers porch at the fair. Agreed to discuss further at the next meeting.

WHERE IS OUR 2ND,
CLUB LATHE ????? DO YOU KNOW WHERE IT
IS ?????
Some
time ago, Dick Radel brought the 2nd, lathe to a club meeting and
after the meeting loaded it a female members vehicle, as she borrowed the lathe
to practice at home as she was taking lessons from Barb Berger at the
barn. We are at a loss now of knowing
who has the lathe. PLEASE CHECK AROUND
AND LET US KNOW WHERE IT IS.
Jim Shimwell reminded us that Christmas is
coming and we need to make toys for the “Aspire Kids”. He has lots of patterns
for toys for those who would like them. Contact Jim at 875-9654
