Business Items: The Annual Picnic was a great success. Milt Ehrenberg thanks all the volunteers and all are looking forward to next year.

Jim Shimwell requested members to make toys for the Aspire Christmas Toy program. If anyone needs ideas or patterns, they can contact Jim at 875-9654 or e-mail him at ourplace72@aol.com.

With regard to the Erie County Fair Woodturner’s Booth, it was voted on and agreed to pay $150 for aprons. Should any member have items they want to donate and can not get them to the fair, Al Schultz has volunteered to pick them up and take them to the fair. Everyone is looking forward to a successful time at the fair. SEE YOU THERE.

Barb's Barn Session There will be an all day hands on session at Barb's Barn on Saturday, October 1^st from 9 am to 3 pm. Paul Mazuchowski will the instructor and will be teaching how to turn flowers. Contact Barb to sign up at gramabbb@aol.com with a subject line of "Barn Session". There will be a $10 donation which includes materials. First come, first serve and is open to all of the area turners.

Bob Rosand at Barb's Barn Bob Rosand will hold two days of hands-on workshops at Barb's Barn on Friday, November 4^th and Saturday, November 5^th. The content of both days will be identical and will focus on Christmas ornmaments and other Christmas gift turnings. The fee for the day is $40. and will include materials. Class size is limited so contact Barb at gramabbb@aol.com to enroll of for more details. Either session is open to the area turners.
