-Rich Mialki stated he signed the contract with “Make-A-Wish”. Also thanked all who have signed up to volunteer at the Erie County Fair.  CALL RICH MIALKI @  694-5430 OR BOB BALL @ 741-3693 TO LET THEM KNOW IF THERE ARE ANY CHANGES TO WHEN YOU ARE COMING TO HELP.

-The August meeting will be held in the Robert Binner Building at 777 Maryvale Dr. in room 207.

-We will have two tables for displaying turnings at the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society. The show will be on July 11 from 9:00a.m. until 3:00p.m. The Historical Society is located at 25 Nottingham Terrace in Buffalo. Please bring some of your best turnings for display. For further info contact Steve Imerese at 688-6651.

-Please note Jake Debski had a mild stroke.  Steve Imerese thanked Paul Mazuchowski for work on the web, Jay Elliott for his photo work, and Dick Radel for his work on the Newsletter’s.   

-Bob Gould Secretary, Lockport Woodworkers Club let us know their club is having a workshop on Saturday, August 8th from 1 to 3 pm at the Dale Association, 33 Ontario St., in Lockport.  It will include cartridge pen assembly and powder coating the cartridges, a scrollsaw workshop with 3D cutting, stack cutting, segmentation techniques and general scroll setup and choosing a scrollsaw

Demo:  Jim Schnellinger showed all how to make bullet pens and did a great job. Thanks for sharing how to make these pens from old bullets. Again check out the photo’s on the web site.
