Jim Hilburger won the 50/50 drawing. His share was $21.
Milt Ehrenberg has donated his fee for taking photos to be included in the clubs donation to “Make-a-Wish”. The large prints are available for $20.12 and the small for $9.24. Jim Vasi will make a frame for the large print and it will be displayed at the Fair. Again, thanks to Milt & Grace for a job well done.
Steve Imerese stated there are hats for sale at $10 each which is less than our cost. It would be great if all volunteers at the fair wore club hats.
Steve Imerese has volunteered to be the coordinator/contact person for the “Audubon Library Display” This is an opportunity for the membership to show examples of their work at the Library during the month of November. If you are interested in displaying your work contact Steve Imerese at (716) 688-6132 or at his e-mail address SAIwoodturner@yahoo.com .
We need your help for the Erie County Fair. The “Sign Up sheet” is attached and will be at the August meeting. To date we have great response and only one time slot has no volunteers. That time is 6 to 9 pm on the last Sunday, August 19th. There is only one person signed up for 6 to 9 pm on Thursday, August 16, and we need you to help him. When can you help!!!! Have you made your items??? We really need your items now! Bring any donations of your work to the meeting and give to Bob Ball or Rich Mialki. . The Fair is August 9th, thru August 19th, 2007 a mere three (3) weeks from now (6/25/07). Make-a-Wish foundation is counting on our continued support.
Pepper Weinheimer will pass out tickets for admission and parking to those who have signed up at the August meeting. Please be there or have someone pick up your tickets.
