Rich Mialki shared that the dates for the Erie County Fair are August 11th,
thru the 22nd, 2010. See the attached sign-up sheet for what slots
are filled. HAVE YOU VOLUNTEERED???

Jim Vasi showed all the new club lathe
and the stand he so graciously made. THANKS JIM. For the record the lathe was
$372, materials for the stand $151, shield $28 and PA system $42. Again, Thanks
Jim for all you do.

Jim Rupracht will be selling wood sealer in gallons at the
next meeting.
The wife of long time club member Lyle Foell passed away on May 27, 2010. Visitation will be at
Hoy's Funeral home on Union Rd. 6/1,Tuesday 7-9, and 6/2,Wednesday 2-4,
7-9. The funeral will be at the Methodist church on Seneca St near the
route 400 exit ramp on 6/3 Thursday morning.
Jim Hilburger is going to David Ellsworth's house
this coming weekend for a worshop. There is a maximum of 5 people.
The person he was going with had to cancel so a spot is open. It is a 3
day workshop. Jim will be leaving around 7 pm this Thursday 6/3. The cost
is $750 including meals and materials. If you are interested in going
please call Jim at 652-3096 or email him at jim.hilburger@gmail.com
Jim Rupracht will be bringing some anchor seal to sell from Pembroke. Price
will be $8.00 per gallon. If some one wants a lot 4-5 gallon let him know ahead
of time so he can bring a larger amount.

Demo: Demo by David Byrne was very interesting. He spun metal into shapes such as
bowls 7 plates. He also made bells of different materials and they rung
differently. THANKS FOR A GREAT DEMO,
David.
Next Meeting: Thursday June 3rd. 2010, 7:15 PM at the
Maryvale School . The demo will be off
center turning by Ray Bissonette.
