Business Items: Ron Niedziela wins 50/50 draw. 2006 Membership cards were distributed to those members present. Ray Bissonette proposed Dean Cole be given an “Honorary Membership” and George Skinner be given a regular membership for 2006. After discussion the proposal was voted on and passed. It was also noted that a couple membership is $30, but they count as two for the roster.

Our club will co-host John Jordan this fall for two days of demonstrations. John will demo at the Pembroke High School on Saturday and Sunday, October 14^th and 15^th. Both days presentations will be different. Tickets will cost $20 for either day or $35 for a two day ticket. Tickets and additional information will be available shortly.

Marwin Feldman encouraged members to donate their work to the Multiple Sclerosis Association Show and Auction to be held October 22, 2006. Milt Ehrenberg is looking for a new chairman for the upcoming Picnic in July. Please call him if you would be willing to help out the club. A teacher at Buff State is looking to borrow use of a large lathe for a special project. If you can help, please contact Jim Vasi. Steve Imerese has changed his phone number to (716) 688-6132, please correct your files.

WNY Woodturners 2 will host 2 days of hands-on workshops with Jimmy Clewes at Barb’s Barn Saturday 5/6 & Sunday 5/7. Jim is an excellent teacher for skill levels from the very beginner to advanced. Contact Jake Debski @ vpresident2@wnywoodturners.com or by phone at (585) 937-7644 for details.

Show & Tell: Eugen Schlaak, Bob Ball, Rich Mialki, Jim Vasi , Steve Imerese, Bill Allen, Jim Shimwell, Kurt Hertzog, all brought items they turned. Thanks for sharing.

Demo: Kurt Hertzog gave a very interesting and through demo on carving and piercing. His knowledge and expertise is obvious. Great job Kurt.

Next Meeting:

The demonstration will be on candlestick holders and will done by Sam Ciccia from Turners 2.

April Meeting:

On Thursday, April 6^th Muriel Kummer will be doing the demonstration on making peppermills
