50/50 draw. 2006 Membership cards were distributed to those members present. Ray Bissonette proposed Dean Cole be given an “Honorary Membership” and George Skinner be
given a regular membership for 2006. After discussion the proposal was voted on
and passed. It was also noted that a couple membership is $30, but they count
as two for the roster.
Our club will
co-host John Jordan this fall for two days of demonstrations.
John will demo at the
Marwin
Feldman encouraged members to
donate their work to the Multiple Sclerosis
Association Show and Auction to be held
WNY Woodturners 2 will host 2 days of hands-on workshops with Jimmy
Clewes at Barb’s Barn Saturday 5/6 & Sunday 5/7. Jim is an
excellent teacher for skill levels from the very beginner to advanced.

Demo:
Kurt Hertzog gave a very
interesting and through demo on carving and piercing. His knowledge and
expertise is obvious. Great job Kurt.
Next Meeting:
The
demonstration will be on candlestick holders and will done by Sam Ciccia from
Turners 2.
April Meeting:
On
Thursday, April 6th Muriel Kummer will be doing the demonstration on
making peppermills
