Kurt Hertzog requested others to assist him in taking digital photos at meetings and events to post on the web site. Three members raised there hands to volunteer. Dick Radel also requested volunteers to take minutes of the meetings he can not attend. Steve Imerese asked for volunteers to do demo’s in the future and Rich Mialki, Kurt Hertzog, Jim Vasi, Jim Hilburger, and Bob Ball all volunteered.

--Jim Shimwell thanked everyone who passed out over 500 items to the Aspire Kids. Jim will write a special thanks letter to the Clarence Scroll Saw Club for their work. Our club made about 250 of the 500 items. About 180 kids got toys and the rest of the toys went to class rooms for future use by teachers and students.

The Sorby Tools factory people will be doing a demonstration of their product line on Wednesday, February 28^th. The demo will be held at the Pembroke High School in Corfu NY. The demo will run from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. It will feature the entire Sorby product line being demonstrated by the factory experts. The Rockler Store will have a mini-store setup with special pricing on Sorby products, both on hand and ordered. There will be drawing for a free Rockler Mini Lathe provided by Rockler. Refreshments will also be provided compliments of the local area AAW chapters.

Demo: Jim Schnelinger did a great job explaining & demonstrating how he makes different shaped pens.

Next Meeting: Thursday February 1^st, 2007

The demo will be done by Jim Rupracht. Jim will be demonstrating his techniques for turning picture frames.
