Beginners Bowl Class

There were two beginners bowl classes at Barb's Barn on Friday and Saturday, March 18th and 19th

Jim Vasi was the instructor for both classes

The sessions were open to members of the four area turning clubs

After the lecture and demonstration of the safety, work mounting, and cutting techniques, it's a hands on session

With the lathes at the Barn, the club's lathes, and some people bringing their own, everyone has a lathe to work on

There was plenty of time for the students to practice all of the techniques covered
