After a short break, Kurt Hertzog begins the evenings demonstration on sanding turnings

He explains what sanding can do and more importantly what sanding can't do

Kurt explains the various sanding materials readily available

After covering hand sanding, Kurt shows techniques and equipment for power sanding

He explains how the stiffness of the pad can impact your project

Kurt reviews the various grading systems for sandpaper and the overlaps

Here he shows the "sanding glove" and it's applications

With velcro attachment points, the glove is a pretty versatile addition

In closing, Kurt shows the use of micro mesh for a high gloss finish
