Turners 1 September Meeting

After a short break, our featured guest speaker, Don Olney gets his presentation started

Don, a world famous top collector and expert, brought a small sampling of his 7000 piece collection

Don's collection spans tops from the late 1800s through modern day, from all around the world

Don, the founder and former owner of ToyCrafters, has spent a lifetime of designing and manufacturing toys

He explains what features make a top spin well

Restrictive spin area shapes and mass make it harder to get a top spinning well

The more mass out at the perimeter of the top, the better
