Aspire Toy Drop Off Party 2003

Thursday, December 11th was the Aspire Christmas Toy Drop-off Day

While only one day, it caps off an effort of planning and toymaking spanning 10 months

Just a few of the 293 toys that were made for the children

The Aspire Project Chairman, Jim Shimwell, is interviewed by one of the three TV stations covering the event

The kids are certainly ready ...

and the Santas are ready ...

so let's give out some toys ! ! !

The toys are specially made for the kids by the members of the club

They are immediately tested out to see how well they work

The kids seem to be doing quite nicely with them

After the younger children had their turn, it was time for the older kids

It was a joyful day for the kids and for the Santas

Thank you to our Santas, Bob Ball, Ben Klinger, Carm Queeno, Jim & Jacquie Shimwell, Ron Karaszewski, Ray Bissonette, Steve Imerese, Harry Vogel, Rich Mialki, Jim Hilburger, Ken Miller, Art Griebner, and all of the other club members making the toys
